Ankyloglossia or tongue-tie is the result of a short, tight, lingual frenulum causing difficulty in speech articulation due to limitation tongue movement. common finding infants. Prevalence ranges between 4.2% and 10.7%. Although frenectomy technique it sensitive surgical procedure, anatomic topographic makes site vulnerable various intraoperative postoperative complications. In this case study, we have reported 2-year-old male child with prior history frenectomy, presented restricted movements. On examination, 1x1cm, solitary swelling was noted region frenulum, firm, cystic, non-tender. Tongue movements were an inability perform protrusion beyond vermillion border lips.Under general anesthesia, underwent revision excision swelling, release fibrous tissue adjacent .Intraoperatively examined found improved .The specimen sent for histopathology which as organizing mucocele.
